Team Parkinson® LA 2019

In Memory of Aaron Moretzsky

My Uncle, Aaron Moretzsky, would have turned 77 on February 3rd.  Parkinson's took it's toll on his body but it never took away his zest for life.  He was a teacher, a counselor and an assistant principal with the LA Unified School District for over 30 years. The number of lives he touched was immeasurable. When he was first diagnosed with Parkinsons, he did not choose to sit back and feel sorry for himself.  He began to talk openly about the disease and turned his attention to raising awareness of how it affected him and others. He never wanted presents for his birthday, instead he asked for donations to Team Parkinson. To honor his memory and his birthday, I am asking that you please consider a donation to raise awareness and fund research for this disease.  My pledge is to forever keep his feet dancing.

Our team is participating in the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon, to help raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease research.

Please support our team's involvement with a tax-deductible donation to Team Parkinson EIN 22-3683309.  Your donation will go towards finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
